Our services range from basic installation of your new cabinets and appliances, to complete remodeling packages including permits and all necessary coordination with local agencies. JohnCookKitchens is a licensed general contractor (# BC-20322), licensed to handle all phases of your remodeling project.

When we prepare a remodeling proposal based on the customer’s drawings, or our own completed design drawings, our proposal is a fixed cost that won’t change, unless the customer changes the scope of the project along the way.

Drawings, and applications must be done just the way the government wants
or you have to redo it and resubmit. You can sometimes wait at the permit
office for hours only to find out you have something a little wrong or
incomplete and have to redo the drawings, make the necessary copies and
go back to the building department and go through the waiting process all
over again. It can be quite frustrating for anyone. Understanding what the
building department is looking for and what they want to see on the
application and drawings is all important.
